A Story of Us

Life is not fair. Life eats you up and digests you until you
breathe your last breath. In our book, we just emphasize and
embrace the cruelty as well as the silver lining of life. It’s a
story of us all. This is a story of us, a story of you and a story
of me. We all living on this small piece of floating land, we all
have loved, hoped, failed, healed in our own ways. We have
written and tried to become your voice, which you cannot
shout out loud. If you have ever felt too much and said too
little, if your voice trembled before it could rise, this book is
meant to sit beside you. This book is for everyone who has
loved deeply, hoped recklessly, failed quietly, and healed
slowly. If you find yourself in these pages, in a line, a pause,
or a silence, know that you are not alone. May you find that
voice through our poems.
